Shenzhen trip

Went to Shenzhen on 05-10 January 2009. It was fun, the weather was so cold over there. The new airport there is so stupid. We have to take a bus from the plane to the airport. Why can't their airport be like in Singapore? So clean, convenient and nice? And I realised something, in China, the ladies do not lock the doors in their cubicles. So weird...

Thank goodness I brought along my nice warm jacket. Initially, I thought it would not be that cold. Didn't do much on the day we touched down because when we got to the hotel it was already 12-1 a.m. already. So, we cam-whore a little before we head to the cafe nearby for supper.

We woke up early to have breakfast at our hotel before heading out to Dongmen area to shop. Bought a nice trenchcoat and 2 pairs of boots. Woot... We had "Zhen Kungfu" for lunch. It was yummy... How I wish we have this in Singapore. It is chinese style fastfood. So interesting...

After our lunch, we shopped a little more before we head back to our hotel to put down our heavy shopping bags. Next stop, we proceed to MixC Shopping Mall. We didn't buy anything much from there because it is too pricy. Instead we pamper ourselves to a very nice Japanese dinner.

After dinner, we lingered around a little more before we head back to our hotel to welcome Jeffrey, Baby's buddy.

Had lunch at this really famous steamboat resturant "Xiao Fei Yang". It is perfect to have steamboat at such a cold weather.

After lunch we continue to Dongmen area to shop. This Dongmen area is huge, 1 or 2 days is definitely not be enough to complete.

After shopping, we went to THE TOILET RESTURANT to settle our dinner. Yes, they have 1 in Shenzhen too... How I wish we have 1 in Singapore too... We are sitting on toilet bowls and eating on bathtub or basin. So interesting... After eating, we are entitled to 1 plate each to throw it against the wall... After more shopping, we went to dye and cut our hair before heading back and I tried on some clothes for Baby to see... It is dirt cheap to dye and cut our hair in China. $103 Rm = About SG$20 plus.

Can't remember what we did but we went around all the high end shopping mall in search for 2 pairs of ugly shoes. Obviously it is not for me... *I would never ever wear ugly things...* Finally, I got so pissed off and want to rest. So we went to a Cosplay Cafe before carrying on searching for the ugly shoes. And Jeffrey got pickpocketed. His handphone got stolen, so sad...

Baby went to clean his teeth, RMB$80=SGD$16. Dirt cheap... While waiting for him, I cam-whore.This time round, I bought many Hello Kitty stuffs but didn't buy many shoes or clothes cause it is winter season over there, all the things are so thick...
