Dinner at the California Pizza Kitchen with Bun. Everytime I patronized them, I would order the Peking Duck pizza and the Jambalaya pasta. These 2 flavors are my favorite flavor because they are very special, unlike the normal tomato sauce or creme sauce base. Feel free to try and let me know how you like them. Sorry no pictures of the food, we were too hungry that we tucked it almost immediately after the food came.
I give them a 4/5 stars.

Attitude problem face. Haha..

After dinner, we head over to Red Dot Brewhouse for a drink with the other 2 Ds. I'm so sorry I was lethargic and moody, was not feeling very well that day. Down with running nose. :( Ended the evening early to go back and rest.

Met up with Huizhen to pass her the presents, belated birthday and early valentine's day presents. I had a great time catching up with her.

I even accompanied her to take the instant passport photo. It was super unglamorous, but we did it anyway. It was fun.
We ate a hell loads that day, goodness. First we had a late lunch at Crystal Jade, after that we shopped around before heading to our second destination, Holland Village to get her bag. Feeling happy and satisfied, we carried on to have our dinner at Sushi Tei.

Checked out Curry Favor at Stamford House on Friday. As you can see from the name of the restaurant, they serve curry, Japanese curry to be exact. The decor of the place is very simple and cozy and the food that they serve is yummy.

The main course was accompanied with miso soup or salad. Of course I would opt for the miso soup.

Seafood Fry Combo Curry. (Mine) It consists of soft shell crab, scallops, fish and prawns.

Cheese Katsu Pork Fillet (His)

I'll give it a 3/5 hearts.

Went for a job interview in the afternoon before meeting Laopo in the evening. I'm meeting her 2 days in a row and I'm loving it. We went to Town to do a little shopping before heading over to Clark Quay for dinner. Along the way, we met Latha, our polytechnic classmate, and invited her and her friends to have dinner with us at Sun & Moon. It was really nice to see Latha after such a long time. I guessed I had not seen her since I graduated from NYP, which was like 2 years ago. Gosh, I'm glad she still recognized me. I felt really happy to catch up with her and of course made some new friends too.
We were like so noisy in Sun & Moon that everyone was staring at us. But it seems that we're in our little world that we do not care about anything else. It was really fun... Haha

After dinner, we went our separate ways, they went to The Arena while Laopo and I just chilled at Pump Room with a bottle of wine. What a relaxing evening. Who says all ladies MUST club on Wednesdays? Chilling out is a form of enjoyment too.

Checked out Mad Jack Cafe and I was very disappointed with their food. They serve Aussie food, but goodness, the food suck big time. The meal started off with a soup of the day which was mushroom soup. I'm a person who loves mushroom soup and I can be extremely lenient towards that. I don't even mind if it taste like The Campbell's mushroom soup. But hell no, it was so bland that after adding table salt to the soup, it ended up tasting like salt+soup. Yucks.
My main course was beef lasagna and it was so dry and tasteless. I had "spread" tomato sauce on it to enhance the taste a little. He had the chicken leg which was named "Swan River Chick." The name sounded really nice, the look of it looked really appetizing but the taste of it was mediocre.
However, the worst thing I had ever eaten was the desert. They looked really pretty BUT it was a disaster. Never had such horrible dessert before. I had the Chocolate Banana Cake and he had the Mad & Rich Cake. They looked like the cakes from Secret Recipe BUT do not be deceived by their looks. It was bad, real bad... :( The cakes did not taste fresh and it was so dry. 1 word to describe, YUCKS.
Guess the only thing which was the plus point of the place was the price. It was cheap, that's all...
I give it a 1/5 hearts.

After dinner, we headed down to Butter Factory to meet our friends. While we were there, I saw many of my friends from secondary school as well as university and I also got to know a couple of new friends too... Really enjoyed myself that night. :D

Went to M.O.F. at Bugis for dinner. Well, it was a big disappointment for me. The service sucked big time as compared to the outlet at Marina Square. Will not want to patronize that outlet again. :(

His

Mine. I was so hungry that I finished up almost EVERYTHING!!!

After that, checked out RedDot Brewhouse at Dempsey. Although I'm not a beer person, I tried their Green Monster beer because it's their specialty and thought it was quite nice. Surprise, isn't it? The beer taste light and very refreshing. :) Would love to try their food the next time I patronize that place.

Went for lunch with Sis at some Hong Kong Cafe at IMM and shopping after that. Was not feeling very well since then, feeling all nausea and stuff. No, I am not pregnant. Haha.... Rushed home to get ready for dinner. Checked out Smoochies Bistro & Bar.

Really liked the design of the place, very modernized and comfortable. However, I was pretty surprised because it was rather quiet on a Friday evening. There are outdoor as well as indoor seating. We chose the indoor seating as we thought we could enjoy the live band. It was a 2 piece band and I thought the guy's voice was so much better then the girl's.

The food was not bad but the serving size was a tad small.
Chicken Thigh

Parma Ham Pizza

Digging in

Yummy

Waiting for my dessert

Molten Lava cake

Satisfied

I give it a 3/5 stars.

Recently, nothing interesting happened in my life. But, I came across this personality test and found it to be so accurate. Sorry, it's going to be WORDY post... If you guys are not interested, just proceed to the next entry.
Laid-back Doers- Friendly, happy person
- Enjoy being together with people
- Smart, eloquent, witty and charming, they like to be the centre of attraction.
- Do not like to be alone
- Their zest for life is to ensure that others feel well in their company and that they quickly get to know people
- Get the best out of every moment - making their whole life one big party
- Boredom is unknown in their presence - they are very good at carrying others away with their enthusiasm, their good mood and their optimism
- Abstract thinking and profound philosophising about the meaning of life appeal less to them
- Pragmatic, realistic and live completely in the here and now
- At work - they prefer it when it’s all go and they can act out their purposeful manner to the full
- They have no problem multi-tasking and they blossom out in crisis situations
- A varied field of activity with a lot of social contacts is just the right thing for them
- Seldom find them inactive in their spare time; due to their open, curious nature, they mostly have many hobbies and interests
- They are not afraid of the unknown: as they are flexible and creative, they quickly adjust to new situations and make the best of them
- When come into conflict with strict rules or hierarchies, they quickly feel constrained and against which they rebel
- As friends, they are generous, helpful persons who attach great importance to harmonious relationships and a good atmosphere
- They have a large circle of friends and they love having the house full of many different types of guests
- They are happy to give in to their spontaneous moods and fancies in the just one or two important things. This makes them appear somewhat unpredictable to those with a quieter nature.
- Reliable
- As partners, they are creative, impetuous and imaginative - as long as their partner knows how to fascinate them
- They can hardly stand boredom or routine in a relationship
- They do not like conflicts at all; if a relationship becomes too strenuous or involves too much effort, they tend to withdraw from the partnership and start to look for a new partner.
- However, if one manages to keep their curiosity alive in the long term and surprise them again and again, one has a loyal and loving partner

Dinner at Holland Village XO Fish head beehoon with Bun, Desiree and Desmond. It was yummy... After that we went for a short shopping trip at Ion but the sales items were not nice at all. Left the place empty handed. Pre-party drinks at Oosh. I miss that place, it was so nice.

Vege Platter to share

Party after that at St. James. Poor Desiree got drunk... :( Felt a little guilty for letting her drink too much. But, we had fun...

Went for an interview in the morning and lunch with mummy after that. I really enjoyed chatting with mummy but it is really rare because we are always busy with our stuffs. Really appreciate all the time I spend with mummy. :) After that went to rebond my hair at Mine's Salon at Far East. Sigh... I think I preferred it to have a little more volume. Hope it will be better after a few washes.

Met up with Huizhen at Jurong Point after her work. It was ages since I last saw her, miss her tons... Enlightened my cravings for Taiwan bubble tea at Lai Lai Family Restaurant. I miss Taiwan's bubble tea, it so nice and the only place that I can get the exact same one was from this restaurant. Exchanged our belated X'mas presents too. Hope she likes the presents that I got for her because I love my presents... Thanks girl...

Met up with Bun, Desiree and Desmond at Heeren's Shokudo. Wow, I just love that place. It's Marche concept but just that they serve all sorts of Japanese cuisine. Everything will be charged to the card issued at the entrance, eat first and pay later concept. So interesting, I like.... :) After that, we carried on to The Wine Company for our chilling out as well as count down session. However it was all ruin by a bunch of super rowdy people. It was so loud that we cannot even hear our own voice. Yes, it was that bad, so tiring to hold up the conversation. :(
Was a little uphappy with Bun that evening... Hope lesson had been learnt... :(
