busy busy week

been having tons of lectures and talks for the whole week...they are getting us prepared for our PRCP.goodness i felt that i had return all the knowledge to the teachers already....need to buck up and study up again...
huizhen was telling me that A&E is very difficult to pass...half of her batch of friends flunk it and had to retake their PRCP.oh man...getting stressed up now...

PRCP 1st day

today is the 1st day of my PRCP.i'm being posted to emergency department for 6 weeks of attachment.

although today was just tons and tons of lectures and talks from various people like the infection control nurse and the assistant director of nursing.i can feel the tension from everyone...everybody including myself were all very stressed up because we knew the consequences of failing this attachment...

what disappoints me the most is that, we might have to work on weekends and public holiday...there goes my weekend with my baby....sad...and now i'm having a huge headache on what if i have to work on 21 April?what am i going to do about the phantom of the opera tickets?they cost baby a bomb...lets hope i can do something about it....

wonder whats wrong with the kids nowadays...are the sick in the mind or what?just couldnt understand them...what are the society turning them into?monsters?

was buying the soundtrack from the movie Dreamgirls..i was queueing up at the cashier when this guy grabbed me and told me that this guy(standing behind me) was taking snapshots under my skirt....
oh man...i was so pissed and insulted...snatched him handphone away from him and confronted him...initially he denied,he said he was only trying to make a call..but when my witness insisted he saw what happened,he had no choice but to admit to what he did...
the manager was notified and she called the police...the police came and took down my statement and went through that jerk's handphone.true enough there were many snap videos of girls' undies...so obviously this is not his first time committing this crime...
he's only 18.studying in a junior colleage.goodnes i guess my parents would be so disappointed in him.their precious son being so smart has committed such a shameful crime.
guess he should be taught a good lesson.if his parents cant teach him let the law discipline him in the hard way.serve him right...
when my mum got to know the incident,she disagree with me persuding the matter...reason being,she is afraid that i might get myself into unnecessary trouble....

final paper...

finally,finished my last paper yesterday...i was so happy...gosh...finally no more exams...i feel so good....haha...it feels like a caged bird being freed...3 years of hardship is finally over...amazing how time flies,in just in blink of an eye i've already finished my nursing course and ready to become a staff nurse...i've also know my girlfriends for 3 years already...now its time to make up my mind on what am i going to do after graduation...

am i going to continue studying or am i going to start working...these thoughts keeps pondering in my mind.its a stepping stone to my future and i have to cloose cautiously...studying will cost my parents $57k and i seriously dont want to waste the money and the time...so if i want to carry on my studies i'm determined to strive and not be a lazy bump anymore...

went club hopping with eileen...haha...from momo to clinic to zouk and finally m.o.s.
met cheryl and her friends at momo...hang out with them for awhile.they were fun people...
clinic is boring...its so small and not fun at all...but the interior was quite unique...the bartenders were wearing scrubsuites..looks quite interesting...they played trance but only a handful were dancing...the crowd were quite boring...

zouk and m.o.s were quite fun but we only stayed for awhile because they close so early...what a pity...

this morning i had a huge hangover and my whole afternoon was wasted...spend the whole afternoon watching television...

nevertheless we enjoyed ourselves tremendously and hope to have more clubbing sessions together soon...

my presents...

my birthday presents from all my loved ones...thanks everybody for making my day such a special and memorable one...i love you guys... :) all of you are the exquisite to me...the bracelet and earrings are from my family...dont underestimate them just because they look pint-sized but the fact is that they are quite pricey...thanks mummy for bringing me to choose something that i like...didnt expect that she would buy the bracelet for me because the inital deal was the earrings only...
they are from my dearest buddies from nyp-my darlings, val and eileen...thanks for celebrating my birthday with me on friday...apparently they didnt know what to get for me and finally got me a full set of body spa from bodyshop which includes a scrub,shower gel,body lotion,body mist and fragrance...thanks my angels...i really love the present... :) hope we could be as close when we start working next time...i'm going to miss you guys tremendously... do stay in touch...
this is from baby...maybe it is to make up for that awful purple gold ring from lee hwa...the diamonds are international certified-Brilliant Rose...so the color will definately not fade...haha...cant stand the monthly maintainence of the purple gold...3 diamonds which stands for i love you...thanks my darling for making my birthday such a magical one

please in future do not buy purple gold because the purple will eventually change color in a couple of months...everytime if you want to send the piece of jewellery back to polish (to get back the purple color) it will take up to a month...so what's the point...such a hassle...for that price you can get something better...although its unique but you will regret sooner or later...

disappointed spa encounter

Venue: Body contour at Raffles town club

our spa appointment was suppose to be on saturday 10 March 07, 2.30pm.baby made the reservation last month because they have limited couple rooms.i bought the package the other time.when we got there they told us that we had ordered for 2 facials.they said we have got to come back another day for the massage and the steambath/jacuzzi OR we can use the facilities(steambath and jacuzzi) and come back for the massage another day..baby said "I don't wish to wait for another 1 month for the appointment." our faces were all black...kinda spoilt my mood alittle..i was abit disappointed...it was the eve of my birthday afterall...

in the end they postpone it to sunday 11 March, 4pm...and complimentary scrub for 2...BUT...in the end they forgot all about our steambath/jacuzzi and rushed us off to the changing room to get changed...because they finish work at 5.45pm...when we came out then we realise that they forgot all about our steambath/jacuzzi...we tried to remind them but they pushed the fault to us saying that we should remind the consultants who massaged for us...

they didnt want to do anything about the situation and i feel that all they wanted to do is to knock off early...they said they couldnt do anything about it...they even had the cheek to ask us if we would like to sign another package...they said that we can either come back another day for the steambath/jacuzzi or sign another package(eg. 6 sessions of steambath) we directly told the lady to forget about the steambath/jacuzzi and forget about us patronizing them

My ALMOST PERFECT birthday...

SATURDAY(eve of my birthday):

• went to have duck rice with baby at adam's road...
• checked in to intercontinental hotel at bugis...we stayed in the shophouse suite...:)
• went to collect my diamond ring(birthday present)
• went to Breeze for dinner with sze,yecai and baby - we had a tiramisu cake...and they all sang a birthday song for me....isnt it surprising....
• went to cafe delma at sentosa for drinks
• proceed to the lounge for drinks
• jasmine and ben joined us for supper

SUNDAY(my birthday):

• spa retreat - the body contour at raffles town club suck...1st they screwed up my package, 2nd they forgot my steambath/jacuzzi
• shopping - but didnt buy anything
• dinner - had dinner at ambush...slipper lobster pasta
• watch movie - 300
• home

finished my 1st exam paper today...1 down 2 more to go....last minute studying just suck...15 minutes before the paper started,i realised that i didnt study for that particular topic which is SUPER important...oh man...panicked like nobody's business....had to absorb with everything i could...shit that was tough...but anyway its over...

went to east coast to have our dinner...i was famished...wanted to eat duck rice but they ran out of duck...then baby went to queue for the beef noodles but when its almost reach his turn he went out of the queue...oh my god...think i almost zonk out...he knew i wanted to have rice for dinner but the beef noodle stall didnt sell any rice...as usual he couldnt bear the disappointed look on my face...so we had other food instead...

but baby...can you dont queue until halfway than giveup?dont waste time...especially not when i'm hungry....

went to bowling just now...yippy...finally i can throw some pins..thought i bowl quite well...heehee...

pampered

shouldnt i be studying?why am i shopping...haha..went shopping with my mummy to get my birthday present...wow...in total i bought about $2k of jewelley...bought a diamond bracelet and a pair of diamond earrings...i feel bliss and pampered....i love my mummy....:)

cruelty to animal

read an article just now about a siberan husky being beaten up by a man...the dog belongs to his fiancee's brother...his fiancee was feeding the dog and suddenly it bit her...seeing that he hit the poor dog with a bamboo pole causing the dog to suffer from a fractured paw...the poor dog was tied to a grille and at the mercy of that cruel man without any way of defending itself.he was then reported and was sentenced to 1 week of jail and fined $3000.
after the incident his fiancee refused to talk to her brother and moved out of the house..
that man is so cruel to the poor dog...its just a dog,doesnt need to use all the strength to hit it right?furthermore how can a size of a full grown man be compared to a dog?most importantly,its not even his dog who gives him the right to discipline the dog...a pet is meant to be doted on not to abuse it...and now the issue leads to a family rift which you can judge how strong the family bonding is...how disappointing...

over the weekends...

saturday:

went to watch 'dreamgirls'....totally overwhelmed by jennifer hudson and beyonce...they could kill with their stunning voices...heard from sze that 'dreamgirls' is based on a true story of some girl band...so cool...would get the soundtrack soon...:)

went shopping with baby and he bought me a diamond ring from sookee jewellery...what a pity...dont think it can be ready on my birthday...they had send it for alteration and it will only be ready on the 15th...

went to tiffany & co to get my bracelet polished...been wanting to get it done for a long long time but didnt have time for it....finally i brought it there and i had to pay $15 for it to be polished...so expensive... :( but no choice have to do it anyway...

bought a guess bag too...been wanting to get it...it resembles the marketing basket..haha...but i still like it alot...i think i need to pamper myself once in awhile right???(although i always do...but i dont care..) furthermore its my birthday this coming sunday so i shall treat it as a birthday present for myself...

sunday:

had dinner with eileen and val...went to some steamboat resturant at suntec city...well cant really remember when was the last time we even went for steamboat...but i would always remember the very 1st time we had our"reunion" dinner...when we were year 1 students which is like 2 years ago...god...time seriously flies...last time we had dinner at "tian tian steamboat resturant" at bugis area...at that time we still have luci with us...:) how memorable...well...this time round is the celebration of my birthday...had plans next week already...sorry girls...

went shopping at "topshop"...was so pissed because i cant fit into the top that i like...so upset...but nevermind there will be nicer stuffs around... :)

unfortunate events

today is a terrible day...goodness...

1. power trip...and i have totally no idea what to do...called baby and tried hundred and thousand ways to try to get the power back but its still no use...in the end had to call my beloved brother to come back to take a look at it...he flipped a switch outside my house and wow the power came back on...at that moment of time,i felt i was so stupid...my brother had to come all the way home to rescue his sister by flipping a switch...lame...
2. had some drinks with baby,sze,ben and yecai...god...that was boring...went to HIGHLANDERS and PUMP...guess we are all sitting around and counting each other's blackheads in the dark...went back at around 12midnight on a friday....didnt really want to club because i wasnt really feeling very well...the crowd was great at PUMP but the company just suck...
3. had some arguement with baby...so pissed off...he actually raised his voice at me...well...he promised to bring me shopping tomorrow...yippy...shopping for my birthday present...:)

finally our last project is over although it has been screwed up by some people but i'm still quite glad...because...

dont understand why some people can just be so irresponsible or is she just dumb...guess she just cant be bothered thinking that even if she dont know how to do there is always the 3 of us who will help her...was actually wondering if that day i didnt out of good-will helped her to look for the statistics for her part,what is she going to present?is she going to stare blankly at the lecturer?even though i send her the links to the statistic,she didnt even bother to summarise it and prepare herself for the presentation...can you believe it...oh my god...sometimes i wonder,people cant be spoon-feeding her everytime....she need to be independent...

ok enough of whining....but at least no more projects/presentations for us....yippy!!!!
