Been a hectic week... I'm quite impress with myself that I actually survived... Haha...
Friday
Met up with Eileen and Val at Far East Plaza. Finally, I managed to pass Val her long overdued Valentine Day's present... Goodness... It's more than a month overdued... It's just that we're both super busy people... After dinner at some Japanese resturant, we went shopping. A pity that I couldn't buy anything because I didn't want to bring any shopping bags to clubbing... It's such a hassle to be taking care of the bags when you are enjoying yourself... Met up with some of my friends at Zouk to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was FUN!!! Enjoyed myself..
Saturday
Finally signed up for the citibank clear card. It's not that I don't have a credit card BUT I want my very own one...(I'm very weird, right?) Although the limit of the card is a pathetic, $500 BUT it's still my very own one... Yippy I'm happy... Now I've 2 citibank credit card, 1 platinum and 1 clear... So cool... Can I shop till I drop?

I was invited to attend the Singapore Fashion Festival 2008 Fashion show at Takashimaya. Oh my god, I totally enjoyed it to the max. There were complementary Hargen Daz ice cream and Coke Light... Yummy.... There's even a nice goodie bag... Interesting...

After that, we went to catch a movie, Vantage Point. I personally didn't really like the movie because they kept repeating the same scene over and over again for at least 7-8 times, showing different people's perspective. It's quite retarded I would say.
Sunday

Met up with my group members at the National Library Bugis to discuss our project which is due on Wednesday. Goodness we're still stuck... Hopefully everything will go well... I can't wait for the semester to end... I can't wait for my holidays to come... Shenzhen I'm coming SOON

Strange Encounter

I had a strange encounter on my way back home today. I was in the closing lift when this weird looking middle aged man dashed into it. After staring at me for like a few seconds without any reaction, I got impatient and asked him which floor he wanted to go. He looked at the buttons and said 12th.(Freak, I was going to the 12th floor too) Afterwhich, he gave me a disgusting, dirty smirk. I was disgusted and decided to get out of the lift and take the next one instead. I seriously didn't want to take the risk, what if he is a pervert, rapist or some criminal who trys to be funny?(Anyway he really look like one) And I'm so sure that he doesn't even stay in my block. If anything is to happen, who's going to suffer in the end? ME! So I should take safety precaution and trust my instinct, right? I'm not saying that he is definately a crook but it's not my fault that he looks like a D.O.M. (Dirty old man) I can't help it, you know... Better be save than sorry...
Mummy bought me this air purifier which is suppose to aid in my morning sinus. According to the box, it is suppose to minus some ions from the air... I hope it does help...

It comes with a really slick remote control as well...

Ugly Singaporeans

Sometimes I just can't believe how ugly some Singaporeans are, not ugly in term of superficial appearance but ugly attitude. It's not that I discriminate against my own people but sometimes the things that they do just turn me off TOTALLY. Take for instance this morning, guess what I found at the space next to the lift?Loads of junk... It's so unsightly and smelly. My goodness, can't they bring it downstairs to the rubbish area or throw them down the rubbish bin which is located comfortably in their apartment? Why can't my neighbours be more considerate? I've another neighbour who stays along the corridor and her house stinks. Baby said that he can smell the house from 10 metres away..(I know this sounded quite exaggerated but it's kind of true) The children throw litter out of their windows like nobody's business and their dogs pee all over the corridor, they don't even care. What's wrong with the people nowadays? Is that how parents teach their children to behave? When I was young, my parents ALWAYS told me not to litter and they set a good example themselves... The upbringing of children are so different now which cause them to be rude, irrespectful and inconsiderate. What do parents do in the end? Bring their children to the Juvenile Court because they feel that their kids are beyond their control...*roll eyes* It's the parents who made the children the way they are today. If we have to blame somebody because of the horrible things that the children did, the person to be blame is the parents.

My brother is back from Guangzhou. He went there for work for 1 week... Miss him... He brought back some new toys....

My god, this helicopter can fly...(I know, I sounded quite bimbotic, but this is really cool) But we can only fly it in the open. My mum wouldn't like it if we break something in the house, I suppose.
This tiny remote control car is so cool, it even has a reverse sensor... I had so much fun playing with it and using it to motivate my dog to exercise(chasing the car around the house). Exercising is good for him...(Whatever...)I didn't know that my brother appreciate those traditional chinese tea thingy, I thought only my dad likes it... I remembered in secondary school, I had to attend this class to learn to appreciate chinese culture as well as to serve tea in this type of traditional tea set. The process was tedious and I often wondered why can't the chinese serve tea like the english people did. As I grew older, I finally realise the beauty of it and I'm proud to be a Chinese.

I need more time.

My long weekend has started but I do not feel happy about it... Tons of work is piling up and countless tests. I can't stand it anymore, I need more time...

Met up with my uni friends at the National Library in Bugis to discuss our project... Wow, the place is huge and magnificent. I can't believe that it is a library, thought it was a school or something like that. That was the very FIRST time I stepped into a library (except the couple of times in Primary school) Everybody was late except HuiChing and me...(I'm so proud of myself) We had lunch at Hans and I got to eat my favourite peach tart... :)

After the meeting, Steffi and I went SHOPPING... It's been ages since I last went to Bugis Village, I was so excited. Steffi bought a dress and a pair of shoes and as for myself, I bought 2 "boyfriend's shirt" and a Hello Kitty handphone accessory. I'm so happy... After that, I meet up with Baby and had dinner at M.O.F... The service there is awesome... 2 thumbs up for them, keep up the good work M.O.F.

Treasure the ones around you...

Life is so unpredictable. You might be laughing and joking to your friends this minute and lie dead the next. I had several unforgetable encounters when I was working in A&E previously. There was once this man was fighting with his wife over some ridiculous issues and the next minute he died from a heart attack. Another incident was when this woman was happily marketing and the next moment she collapsed. Can you imagine how shocked their love ones were when they were notified of their deaths? The message that I want to bring across to you guys is to treasure every seconds and minutes of your life as well as the people around you, you will never know what is going to happen or what will happen. You wouldn't want to regret something that you should do but didn't, right? If that day really comes, it would be too late already.

Remembering the days when I still have my grandpa with me, he loved me, doted on me, whatever I want he would give it to me and he even shield me from any scoldings but I took everything that he had done for granted. I thought he was irritating and I would always talked back to him, I even made him hunt for me in the WHOLE neighbourhood... Considering everything that I've done, I think I was a real rascal. I didn't know how to appreciate him until the time has come for him, he was really ill and finally I realise how important he was to me but everything was too late already. All I could do is to tell him how sorry I was and how much I love him at his bedside. If I could actually turn back time, I would not have been such an unfilial girl. Now when I think back, I still regreted for not treasuring him.

I miss you Grandpa....
I want to express my deepest condolences to Eileen and her family... Be strong girl... No matter what happens, you know I will always be there for you...

Finally, I did something to my hair...

Everybody was telling me that I should do something to my hair and after such a long time I finally decided to do so... Went to Kimage Prestige at Plaza Singapura yesterday and guess what I did? I cut and dyed my hair... Haha, I cut my fringe too, but it's not the very short type because the stylist was afraid that I might not get used to it and I wanted something that is easy to maintain too so I ended up in this... You might not be able to see much difference in this picture but I think it's quite nice...
After that, I met up with Baby, Ivan, Lynette and Harn to have dinner at Sushi Tei(Big Splash) for dinner... The ambience there is so pretty... A pity I forgot to bring my camera, would be lovely to take many many beautiful pictures there.

Met up with Eileen in the later part of the evening for partying session (as usual). Ladies night at Dbl O was fun but it's a pity that the club closes so early so we went to Zouk/Phuture after that. Guess I still prefer the crowd in Dbl O to Zouk/Phuture.Reached home at around 5am this morning... And we got this... Although I don't really need it because I have the Citibank Credit Card so entrance would be free at Velvet for the early birds... But it's still nice to have this.
