Meeting up with Mr Kavan

Met up with Kavan on Tuesday, it has been such a long time since I've last seen him, about 1 year or more I guess... He is studying in Sydney. This time round he is back for holidays so it is a good opportunity to meet up... Really enjoyed myself that evening, lots of gossiping and stuff. Hope to see him soon...

The Canopy

Hey everyone, was just thinking since I have some time to spare before Baby comes and pick me up for BBQ at his place, why don't I blog about my Christmas... Here it goes...
Well, it was not really that bad on Christmas Eve. Perhaps I was being a tiny bit difficult that day... Thank goodness Baby changed his "horrible" plan. We drove through town and enjoy all the Christmas lighting as well as to countdown for Christmas Day BUT all thanks to Yasminne(Class 95 DJ), she forgotten all about the countdown. Was wondering why is everyone popping champagne and jumping around when it is not 12 midnight yet... Sigh... Such a spoiler... Oh well... Doesn't matter... Remembering how Baby and I got together was also driving through the jam through town and counting down as the clock strike 12, 4 years ago. Orh... So sweet... *Smiles* Love you to bits Baby... After that we went to have dessert and shopping at Mustafa. Although our Christmas Eve is simple, it is sweet. Thanks Baby...
On Christmas Day, Baby and I had a nice dinner at our little secret resturant. The food and ambience is nice... Really enjoyed myself that night. After our nice dinner, we went back home for our gift exchange with my family... How can a nice dinner be without wine?Mushroom soupLook at his face... Haha... He said he felt like a cow... Haha...Moo... Haha...Actually, it is not that bad...Fillet mignon with HUGE potobello mushroomChocolate fudge Pana Cotta
Well, I received some really weird presents from my Aunt but it is the thought that matters I guess. Anyway I got some weird silver pair of platform slippers...

Xi Yan

I enjoyed my Christmas dinner with my friends yesterday. Usually, every year the Christmas party would be held at Sze's place but this year he decided to treated us to a nice chinese fusion dinner at Xi Yan. It is a very special place without any menu. Apparently we have to make reservations way ahead and the chef will design a special menu just for you. So interesting...
First dish, green house tomatos in wasabi sesame sauce. They were too hungry that they devor it before allowing me to take any pictures. Left 1 out of 3... Sob. According to the waiter, this tomotos are from Japan and they are very expensive. The bigger they are, the sweeter it is...Proof to what I have said. Look how hungry Baby was... Fancy attacking the pretty tomato...The second dish, baked stuffed scallops with beancurd. This is yummy... Taste a little like "siew mai" but this is expensive "siew mai"... :)The third dish, seared prime ribeye with sichuan sauce. Baby's favourite...The forth dish, oolong tea smoke chicken with mango salsa. The chicken is so tender... My goodnessThe fifth dish, dory fillets in shrimp sauce in pomelo salad. Taste like "Ha Cheong Gai" but instead of using chicken they used fish... Nice...The sixth dish, pumkin, shrimp and basil soup. This taste a little like the lobster bisque. Personally, I don't like pumkin but this, I LIKE...The seventh dish, Young and Old Happy News. Basically, it is vegetables. Made up of young and old beansprout stirfried with preserved vegetables. Not bad...Last dish of the evening, our dessert. It is Chef's lychee ice cream logcake. This is heavenly... Taste like lychee martini... I LIKE....Of course not forgetting to camwhore... This time round didn't really took many pictures because everyone was busy eating and busy chatting... So here we go...
