Hey everyone, Happy Lunar New Year!!!
I really enjoyed my 1 week of New Year break... Went to granny's house for a feast on New Year's Eve. I really missed her cooking, nothing can compare to her authentic Cantonese soup. Yummy...

Day 1
After our usual visiting, we had our family dinner at Seafood Paradise. Finally brought bro and sis-in-law to try their famous cream crab. It was yummy... It was ages since the last time our whole family had a nice dinner together. The next time I will definitely want to bring them to Fortune Seafood to try their salted egg crab...

After the nice dinner, we went to Mono... Credits to Samuel who booked the room... The place was not bad...Just that the price was a little too steep. Minimum spending of $300 to open the room. But we had a great time... And all thanks to Baby, I finally got the St James membership card. Love you Baby.

Day 2
Went to Granny's house again for steamboat lunch and Aunty Tina aka Richie Rich's place after that. It was so BORING!!! They forced us to watch this really boring Hong Kong concert held by Zhu Mi Mi. While watching it, I almost fell asleep. Thank goodness I had my phone with me so I could play solitaire and keep myself entertained. Seriously, why must we "learn" to enjoy this boring nonsense? I don't want to and I don't need to either. After waiting for Baby to come and pick me up, Bro and I came out with all sorts of different excuses so that we could escape from their house. After escaping, all of us went to have MacDonald. We were supposed to have dinner at their place but seriously, I think I will probably suffer from indigestion if I continued to stay on. Trust me, they suck. If it is not because of my parents I would probably not want to see them at all.
Oh well, after that we went to catch Love Matters with Samuel and Harn. Would give it a 3.5/5 stars. It's quite a funny movie...
Day 3
Met up with Laopo at Vivo City. It has been such a long time... Went to grab a bite at Marche before shopping around. Initially, we wanted to head to Cafe del Mar BUT it was raining... Such a disappointment. So we went to Powerhouse instead to chill a little while as well as to collect my membership card.
Was quite disappointed with the design of the card because I thought it would be the Mono one instead... Sigh...

School schedule revived...

Sorry peeps for not updating for 2 weeks. I was SUPER busy with school stuffs. Oh well, school has already started for 2 weeks and all I can say is that it sucked. Thank goodness, the days for my long hours of breaks on Monday and Wednesday are finally over. Trust me, 5 hours break in between classes is no joke. It's too short to go back home because it takes 2 hours of transportation time to and fro school and I can't possibly go shopping on every Monday and Wednesday. All in all, it is a big waste of time and money. Thank god, somebody dropped the earlier class and I am able to squeeze into that class. Now, my classes are 9am-1.15pm EVERYDAY!!! No more until 4.30pm... YES!!!

Now now, let me update you guys of what I did for the last 2 weeks... Let's see, I went shopping with Baby although I kept telling myself not to buy anything because of the shopping spree from the last trip to Shenzhen BUT I can't control myself... Bought a pair of jeans from River Island and 2 dresses. Had to bring them for alteration because I am too short and stuffs and guess how much the alteration cost me? A hefty $58... Gosh... That was EXPENSIVE!!! Realized that Levis jeans are getting BORING... The designs doesn't catch my attention anymore. Need to search for much nicer ones

Met up with Laopo Eileen on Monday too, wanted to pass her the gifts I bought for her from Shenzhen. Hope she likes them... Got my long delayed Christmas present too. Love it. Thanks Laopo. Went shopping with her and bought a pretty bling bling belt and a dress. It was a steal... :)

Shenzhen trip

Went to Shenzhen on 05-10 January 2009. It was fun, the weather was so cold over there. The new airport there is so stupid. We have to take a bus from the plane to the airport. Why can't their airport be like in Singapore? So clean, convenient and nice? And I realised something, in China, the ladies do not lock the doors in their cubicles. So weird...

Thank goodness I brought along my nice warm jacket. Initially, I thought it would not be that cold. Didn't do much on the day we touched down because when we got to the hotel it was already 12-1 a.m. already. So, we cam-whore a little before we head to the cafe nearby for supper.

We woke up early to have breakfast at our hotel before heading out to Dongmen area to shop. Bought a nice trenchcoat and 2 pairs of boots. Woot... We had "Zhen Kungfu" for lunch. It was yummy... How I wish we have this in Singapore. It is chinese style fastfood. So interesting...

After our lunch, we shopped a little more before we head back to our hotel to put down our heavy shopping bags. Next stop, we proceed to MixC Shopping Mall. We didn't buy anything much from there because it is too pricy. Instead we pamper ourselves to a very nice Japanese dinner.

After dinner, we lingered around a little more before we head back to our hotel to welcome Jeffrey, Baby's buddy.

Had lunch at this really famous steamboat resturant "Xiao Fei Yang". It is perfect to have steamboat at such a cold weather.

After lunch we continue to Dongmen area to shop. This Dongmen area is huge, 1 or 2 days is definitely not be enough to complete.

After shopping, we went to THE TOILET RESTURANT to settle our dinner. Yes, they have 1 in Shenzhen too... How I wish we have 1 in Singapore too... We are sitting on toilet bowls and eating on bathtub or basin. So interesting... After eating, we are entitled to 1 plate each to throw it against the wall... After more shopping, we went to dye and cut our hair before heading back and I tried on some clothes for Baby to see... It is dirt cheap to dye and cut our hair in China. $103 Rm = About SG$20 plus.

Can't remember what we did but we went around all the high end shopping mall in search for 2 pairs of ugly shoes. Obviously it is not for me... *I would never ever wear ugly things...* Finally, I got so pissed off and want to rest. So we went to a Cosplay Cafe before carrying on searching for the ugly shoes. And Jeffrey got pickpocketed. His handphone got stolen, so sad...
