Butter fingers....

Damn...Baby dropped my new IPOD Classic. Wanted to bring it to IMM to fit the protective sheet yesterday but Baby dropped it in the carpark before I could even do it... Was so upset, felt my heart shattered into a million pieces. It is less than a week old and now it has more scratches than my old IPOD.*PISSED*

Remembered the last time we were in Hong Kong Disneyland and he dropped my camera too, causing it to have many scratches... All I can say is BUTTER FINGERS!!!!

My birthday is arriving, Baby asked me what I want... It took me quite a while to make up my mind... Was considering bags, jewellery or gadget and finally... I want a new camera...

I'm such a klutz

(Photo Stolen from Eileen...)
Went St james with Eileen on Friday, and guess what happened? I lost my keys, I hanged it on the catch together with my phone and it just disappeared. So bizarre, don't you think so? Realised it at 3.30am, damn, I was having a great time then. I couldn't go home because I seriously didn't want to wake my parents up in the middle of the night and my brother is having reservist. Had to ask Baby to come and pick me up, felt so guilty because he had got to work the next day and he could only have 3 hours of rest... Sorry Baby, I promise I will be more careful the next time... Felt guilty towards Eileen too, for ending the night early.... Didn't have any choice, if not I would have to sleep on the streets and that's the last thing I want to do.

Watched 'L' changes the world on Saturday. I thought it was an "alright" movie, was a little disappointed with the movie actually, but it wasn't really THAT BAD but my friends thought it was boring... Well, all I can say is that different people has different opinion. In the whole movie, there's totally nothing to do with the death note (by the way, he actually burnt it at the begining of the movie)*roll eyes* The movie is all about how he try to save the world by stopping some bioterrorism.

My brother took me out for lunch on Sunday... It has been ages since my brother brought me out, I miss those free meals.... Haha... Please do not mistake me for a freeloader, I just miss those time when he will share some of his secrets with me as well as catching up with each other. Although some people might ask, why can't we chat at home? But the feeling is different and we don't usually see each other that often due to work and other issues...

He told me that particular morning, 2 ladies in their 30s came to look for me. They knew my name as well as Daddy's and they claimed to be my friends and wanted to talk to me regarding some Christianity issues, he asked them to leave because I was still sleeping. But the problem is, I never liked to discuss Christianity issues, I do not have such "OLD" friends and even if they are my "friends", why would they come uninvited. People in the right mind would not do something like that right? If you want to look for a friend or something, you would call instead of self-inviting yourself to somebody's doorstep. A similar thing actually happened a few months ago too when I was out shopping with Mummy. It's so scary and suspicious, they felt like stalkers to me... When I told my parents that evening, Daddy actually admitted that he told the ladies his name the last time they came, because he thought they were harmless.*Oh my God*

Hope they will not come again and if they ever do, I certainly hope that the person who answers the doorbell is me and I'm going to make sure I'll give them a piece of my mind (especially when I totally HATES stalkers)

Anyway, after lunch I went to Steffi's house to complete our project... Time is so scarce, didn't have enough time to study for my test and mid-term exam... Think I'm going to flunk it... For a moment, I wish I have 30 hours everyday instead of 24 hours. But at least we finished 1 project and the next one is due next week*faint*

Sucky service from Mac

Ordered Macdonald breakfast delivery yesterday in school. All I can say is that their service suck big time. They mixed up our order, instead of sending 3 ice-milos and 1 coffee, they send us 3 coffees and 1 ice-milo. When we called up and requested for them to change our order, they said they can't. But all thanks to Jiamin that we got our ice-milos in the end... But it took them super long to arrive, initially they said it would come in 15 min but in the end it came after 1 hour and 30 mins... Oh my god... Horrible service...

Finally, our project is close to completion, I'm so glad... All thanks to the hardwork that my team-mates had put in... Love them to bits...

Would be meeting Eileen at St James later, need to have some pre-exam partying session... Looking forward to it...

Million thanks to Eileen... My overdue Valentine's Day present - Bling Bling Navel stud. Love it to bits.

Stilettos...My Love

Came across this post and thought I must post it since I'm so obsess about stilettos...

High heels: It's a love/hate affair

Love it
The height: Vertically challenged women such as myself often rave about the benefits of high heels, but even if you don’t need the extra inches, there’s something about being taller that just gives you an extra burst of confidence.

The slim-down: High heels, especially ones with pointed toes, have the effect of slimming and lengthening your profile. Besides, how many women do you know that wouldn’t mind dropping a few pounds?

The attitude: Almost any outfit gets sexier when you throw a pair of high heels into the mix. Jeans get dressed up, a plain skirt looks chic, and a suit becomes more feminine. And you know it, too, so you hold your head high, wear a confident smile on your face, and feel better about yourself the moment you slip those heels on.

Hate it
The walking
: Our feet weren’t created to balance on a stiletto point at a four-inch incline. Learning to walk gracefully in high heels is a difficult process, especially on slick surfaces.

The injuries: Soreness is almost inevitable after wearing high heels for a long period of time. Knee and back pain might also develop with consistent wear, and it’s not unheard of for one person’s spiky heel to stab the top of another person’s foot on a crowded dance floor.

The cost: High heels aren’t always expensive, but you pay for what you get. It’s wise to invest in a few quality pairs with leather uppers and lots of padding that are more likely to last and keep your feet as comfortable as possible, rather than save your cash at the risk of breaking an ankle.

Discussion of the day...

"Men are from Mars, women are from Venus"
OR
"Men are from North Dakota, women are from South Dakota"

Smile... Will be meeting Eileen for dinner at Jurong Point later. Can't wait to see her soon and to pass her the long overdued Valentine's Day present. Initially was thinking of going partying tonight BUT I have to prepare for my presentation on Monday so had to put that idea off, what a let down... It's alright there is always another time, right...(trying to comfort myself here)

Getting pretty stressed up here because our group hasn't really done anything for our presentation on Monday, and the worst part is, the teacher is a total LAZY BUM. She doesn't teach or gives us notes, all she does is to digress and interrupt when people are presenting... Getting worried for my exams, with this teacher around, I wonder how am I suppose to score... Many students had complained against her several times already but I wonder why she's still around... Guess the complaining part isn't very effective afterall... Sigh...

Well... As for the happy part is that, I managed to do quite well for a couple of my tests, some of them I actually scored full marks... Haha... Kind of proud of myself, hope I can maintain this standard for the rest of the semester... FIGHTING!!!

Bel is Fed up

Damn.... My lift smelt like a filthy toilet. Wonder what's all the cleaners doing, sleeping? Although it looked quite clean but the stench was unbearable. We pay maintenance for god's sake and what do we get in the end? A whole load of lazy, irresponsible cleaners who don't even bother about getting their jobs done. In some country, people take so much pride in their job that they actually tell others that they love their jobs so on and so forth. Cleaners alright, for goodness sake. I don't expect the cleaners in Singapore to let others know that they are a cleaner and they love their job but at least take some pride in their work. Don't you agree? We contribute to their pay as well. If you don't like your job, then jollywell leave. I'm sure the town council can find someone better.
Phew, enough of bitching, would be having a stressful week ahead. Projects, presentation, reports and mid-term exams are neverending. Sigh, I WANT MY LIFE BACK!!! Have tests every single week without fail and its driving me nuts.

il Lido @ Sentosa

Thanks baby for the beautiful bouquet of lily. I love it. Went il Lido at Sentosa for our Valentine Day dinner. The ambience was breath-taking and the company was perfect. I enjoyed it, really. It was a memorable and beautiful evening.

My favourite dish of the night - Assorted Dessert platter.

The perfect company

See, the lilies are so pretty even my dog loves it.

Went to M.O.S with Eileen and some of my university friends yesterday. Didn't know it was Chelsea's 18 year old birthday. Happy birthday girl. Enjoyed myself to the max. Saw 1 of my secondary school junior there as well... He didn't seem to change too much. I miss spending time with my girlfriends. A pity that Val couldn't join us yesterday. Let's start planning for my birthday celebration soon alright? Love you girls. Muacks...

The few No Nos when clubbing

  1. Never cheapen yourself when you are HIGH. It's a big turn-off for the guys (except for those jerks who just want cheap screw)
  2. Don't start dancing with weird "colourful" guys when you are drunk (It's disgusting)
  3. Don't keep expecting or asking guys to buy you drinks after a couple of dance. (Don't you even have money to get yourself drinks?)
  4. Never borrow money from your random friends who just accidentally bump into you. ( Are you that poor?)
  5. Behave yourself when you club with your classmates (you never know what kind of rumours they might spread)
  6. Never dirty dance with your classmate (It's disturbing for the rest to watch)
  7. Stop flirting with the guys especially when your classmates are watching.

Sucky Monday

Today is the first day of school after my 1 week of CNY holidays, all I can say is EXHAUSTED. Didn't really had much rest during the whole 1 week of holidays, been visiting, visiting and more visiting. Although the visiting part was quite fun, it was extremely tiring too... Weird thou, because I didn't really do anything much.
Anyway, our beloved lecturer dropped us a most horrible CNY present of the year, a test on the first day of class... Suck right... Well, anyway its over... But there's more tests to come...
Today is also my brother's 1st day for reservist. Haha... For the first time, he woke up earlier than me. Couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw it. When I got up at 6.30am, he is already out of the house, amazing... For usual he would sleep in till about 10-11am, but today almost everyone was out of the house when I got up, except of my mum. Initially thought I woke up late. Haha... Poor brother, he would need to stay in camp during the reservist period. I'm going to miss him badly...
In almost less than 3 days time would be Valentine's Day, what are you guys planning to do? I'm not too sure myself too, because this year, Baby is the one planning... Guess it would be the usual stuffs, dinner maybe?(Unless Baby is going to come out with something special) Haha... I don't really expect alot, do I?
This year, my 2 darling girls are without their valentines BUT no worries because we still have each other to share the time with. Although I can't spend 14 February 2008 with you guys but I will still try my very best to spend more time with you all. Valentine's Day is not only for lovers but also meant for friends as well. The love between friends is irreplaceable. 13 February 2008 will be the day when we celebrate OUR very own VALENTINE'S DAY.

I love you girls...

Irritated...
Damn I'm so irritated... Went to Ivan's place to gamble(it's an annual routine), the first thing we'll usually do is to go into their room to put our bags. This year, we did the same as well, we went into the room, put our bags and chatted with Ivan for awhile THEN she came in and demanded that we get out of the room... Quote her "Can you get out?" What the hell... Was so pissed off. Such a rude bitch. Don't you even know your manners? And for goodness sake, we're you friends(or at least your husband's friends) and not some kind of stranger. It's not like you have a million dollars in your room that we might be interested in, why are you so uptight when you see us going into the room? Furthermore your husband is in the room with us as well, what are you so paranoid about? Your disgusting attitude suck a hell of a time and it is such a turn-off.
There's 1 thing I want to tell you.
I'M FREAKING DISGUSTED WITH YOU

Went to Chinatown with Baby just now, oh my god they have lowered their prices for almost everything. Bought some "mua ji" for $5, and jelly for $6. We paid $5/$6 for the plastic bags and we can fill it up as much as we can...Our plastic bags seemed like they were going to explode sooner or later, we have to make our money worthwhile right? Haha.... Alright, I sounded really like an aunty in the market... But its really cheap, regreted buying in Bugis the other time... Bought 2 more sets of really cute pyjamas... I'm contented...
But we encounted this really retarded thing when we were coming out from the carpark. This stupid guy who drove an old mercedes was in front of us. When we were queuing to pass the barrier this stupid guy suddenly got out of his car because there was not enough cash in his cashcard. He approached our car and asked if we could lend him ours. But seriously, who in the right mind would do that? What if we're the kind souls but he's the ungrateful one? What if he ran off with our cashcard? We refused to take the risk. If there's insufficiant money in your cashcard, jolly well press the intercom for assistance or top up before leaving. Do not leave your car in front of the barrier and run off somewhere to top up your stupid cashcard. Do you know that you are causing inconvenience to the other drivers who were also waiting to get out of the carpark? Please be more considerate... Well... All I can say is... IDIOTS CANNOT BE CURED OF THEIR IDIOCY
Anyway, I'm looking forward for reunion dinner tomorrow...

My new year manicure... I did it myself... Nice? Didn't want to go to the beauty salon to do them during the new year period because they will tend to push up the price. Wanted to save money, so I did them myself. Quite satisfied with my work...

Had steamboat dinner with Eileen and Val yesterday, our reunion dinner... Ya I know, I know... You guys must be thinking I was out of my mind to have steamboat twice in this week... But its yummy, so no complains on my side...
Val bought 1kg of "mua qi" or whatever it's called and the uncle charged her $12. What the hell.. I bought mine for $15... NOT FAIR... But anyway it's alright, might be going back there to buy some more because it's so nice... Mummy is going to faint, I love it so much that I can't stop eating, its addictive. Oh my god... I think I'm going to get fat this new year, so much yummy goodies. I must have some self discipline so STOP EATING SO MUCH...
Friday:
Had steamboat dinner with my university buddies at Jin Deli, my favourite steamboat resturant. Initially, it was supposed to be a "reunion dinner" but ended up only Steffi, Huiching, Shermeen and me turned up... What a pity... But we enjoyed ourselves

Yummy...
