Granny's Bday and Halloween

Went to Aunt's house at Hougang to celebrate Granny's birthday... It was quite nice seeing all the relatives, cousins etc. after such a long time. I think the last time I saw them was during the Chinese New Year. Gosh, that was a long time... Hmm... Maybe we could organize some partying session or something and hang out together with the cousins someday. Think it would be fun... :D Looking forward to that day...
It was Halloween too, but didn't celebrate at all. :( When I got home after my shopping and dinner, it was already very late. Guessed all the clubs would be packed by then. But that was not the main reason why I stayed home during Halloween. By well, what is past is past. Should not harp on it anymore, right?

Careless Me...

Brother did not drive to work today, so I got the privilege to take my Sis and Mum out for High Tea. Went to the Royal Plaza at Scotts for some Asian Buffet. The food was not bad... After that, drove to Suntec to pick Brother up from work... I was the driver for the day... But.... Forgot to lock the car door when I went out of the car, thank goodness it was only for a short while and nothing was missing from the car. Ops...

Kbox

Finally relieved my urge to sing karaoke on Saturday. Yes, I went to Kbox buffet dinner at Cineleisure. Realized the one at Cineleisure is so much better than the one at Marina Square. Stuffed myself silly with all the food. Yummy... I enjoyed myself...

Was not feeling well... :( Had a really bad runny nose... Had dinner at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe at Marina Square... I love the congee there, it's nice... After that, we took a stroll down to Esplanade. There was an event there and EVERYONE was dancing... It was so interesting... It makes me want to learn ballroom dancing too... :D After that, we checked out the roof terrace and found this interesting place - Orgo. The view was spectacular. It overlooks the bay. Would really want to try it someday. :)

Catching up

Christian had came to Singapore for some exhibition and he made some time to actually meet up with me. I felt so pampered and appreciated. It had been 3 years plus since the last time I saw him. He had not changed much, still as charismatic and funny. Enjoyed catching up with him after such a long time. :D We had dinner at The Wine Company at Evans. I love the place because it is so cosy and they also serve my favorite wine. :)

Happy Birthday Bro

Sis and I went shopping (without letting my Bro know)... We wanted to surprise him with his favorite chocolate cake. Sis told him that she was home watching television but in actual fact, she was out shopping with me... Haha... So evil. We did a very silly thing when we were shopping for our cake. She could not remember the location of the shop when it was right in front of us. *Faintz* After we realised that it was THAT shop, she could not remember which cake was it... Haha... We had to buy a small slice of cake and stood in front of the shop to eat it before deciding on whether to buy it or not... It was so embarrassing... The result of 2 blur queens shopping... :D After that, we rushed home and hid the cake... We didn't want Bro to find out, so we acted as if nothing had happened at all. We were so naughty....
After that, we continued to go for a nice dinner at Bukit Timah. The food there was yummlicious. Had satay, lotus roots soup, cereal prawns, samba lala, baby kailan, chili crab, baked salted crab, red wine chicken and prawn sauce chicken. So delicious....
Finally, we went back home and surprised him with the cake we bought for him. Yes, he was surprised because he did not expect us to buy him a cake and the funniest part is that he could not find it at all although he had opened the refrigerator several times... Haha, we were so smart... :p

Shopping...

Woke up early to have Tim Sum at Dragon Gate Restaurant. It was yummy... And guess what, the meal was free because someone know the captain of the restaurant and we got a treat... We were freeloader of the day... Haha...
After that we walked around at Vivo City... Sigh, that place is boring.... Had a hard time trying to find a present for my Bro. It was either too cheap, too ugly or no sizing... What a headache. Ended up buying him a dry-fit polo T-shirt from Adidas. Bought myself a dress, a top and a bottom too... :D

St. James

Had a couple of drnks at St. James on Friday and met some friends whom I have not seen for YEARS... Very happy to see them there and had a nice good chat with them. Hope to meet up with them soon... Lots of catching up to do. :)
However, I've lost my St. James membership card. Cannot remember where I had place it. So sad, for the meantime , no going to St. James before getting my new replacement card... :(

Watercross Beach Culture

Went to a birthday bash at Aranda Country Club in Pasir Ris. So since we were there, we decided to check out this Watercross Beach Culture. It's quite a nice place with really pretty scenery of the sea. Not forgetting the live band there was not bad too. It's really a nice place to chill out, a pity we do not have such nice places in the West... :(

Met up with secondary schoolmate, Jonathan for dinner and drinks at some alfresco bistro in Wisma. It had been almost 8 years since I last saw him, almost could not recognise him. It was really nice catching up with old friends once in awhile. Interesting to know how much they have changed and reminisced the past. We were so young and childish then... Haha... After that headed over to Sabai, had to take over the wheels because somebody was damn drunk... Freaked me out totally... Never want that to happen ever again...

Online shopping=More savings

Now that I have so much free time, I realized that I had been going out lesser and spending lesser. But instead, I spend more time shopping online... However, I am still quite happy with myself because shopping online is actually so much cheaper and they deliver right to your doorstep... (At least I found a cheaper and more convenient alternative to shop... Haha) Which means that I can shop more online AND save more money for my graduation trip to Taiwan... Yes, plan to shop till I drop there... :) The thought of it is making me excited.... :D

I've been really diligent today... So satisfied with myself... :) Let me share a little of what I did today...
I had a nice lunch with mummy at IMM, after that we went shopping. I love shopping with mummy because I do not need to pay a single cent... :) After that, we headed home and I took a 30min nap before going downstairs for a nice jog. Yes, I went jogging... Unbelievable right? Haha... Was so determined to jog today. Love the feeling of sweating it out after some exercise. After that, I did my whole pampering regime.

Andre & Denise's wedding

Attended my cousin's Wedding at Ritz Carlton on Mid-Autumn Festival. The wedding was very grand and there were approximately 70+ tables. Yes, that was a lot of tables which mean that it was EXTREMELY COSTLY. But the service was rather disappointing... :( The portions of the food were not equally served and they did not taste fantastic. The staffs were not attentive and neither were they professional... Sigh. It definitely did not justify the price that the newly-wed had paid...

City Space @ Swissotel

Met Laopo to pass her birthday present and treated her a yummlicious dinner at Imperial Kitchen. Hope she liked the present that I've got for her. :) Post dinner drinks at City Space. Love the beautiful view of Singapore from there. Guess it is the only place (other than New Asia Bar) to be able to enjoy such a beautiful scenery.
