Mum is off today and we decided to go to Shashlik Restaurant for dinner. We haven't been there for quite some time. Love their Bosh soup, escargot and the signature Shashlik beef fillet.

Yummy Bosh soup. But Bun didn't really like it.

Taiwan Eatery/The Ship/Canele

Spend the entire day with my bro and sis. The best part, I was a freeloader for the day... Haha... Had lunch with my sis at the new Taiwan eatery at IMM and dinner with bro and sis at The Ship Resturant. The highlight of the evening was DESSERT... We had cakes and ice cream at Canele Patisserie Chocolaterie. I feel so loved. :D

Twenty Six

After dinner at my God-parent's place in Bedok, Bun and I decided to check out 1 Twenty Six at East Coast. The ambiance was great and it is really nice place to chill. The place is facing the sea and I really enjoyed the sea breeze. It's so relaxing. Would really want to try the food someday. :D

Rakuzen/Dbl O

Photobucket
Went to Rakuzen for my favorite Japanese food. Yummy... It was my first time trying their sparkling sake and I fell in love with it. I was initially attracted by the looks of the bottle, it's in pink, so pretty. Now, not only it looks pretty, it taste very nice too. Taste like sparkling juice. :D I want to try their other sake as well.

Chinese New Year/First Valentine's Day

It was the first day of Chinese New Year as well as Valentine's Day. The day was well spend going around visiting my granny and maternal relatives.
Well, as for Valentine's Day, luckily Bun managed to do something to salvage our first Valentine's Day. If not, I am so going to kill him. I do not expect alot BUT I do expect him to put him some effort to make the event a memorable one. Is it too much to ask?

Reunion dinner

Reunion dinner at granny's house. This year, we had steamboat, it was easy to prepare and yummy. No pictures for today because we were all too busy eating. Really enjoy spending time with my love ones (close relatives).

Something caught our attention though and kept us entertained for sometime. Granny's neighbor hang out 8 striking RED undies to dry. Getting all ready for his/her gambling session?
HUAT AH!!!

Our first Valentine's Day dinner was a disaster. :( Well, I do not wish to recall the upsetting moment but thank goodness you did something to save the situation. Thanks for the effort.

Thai Central

Photobucket
Checked out Thai Central at Bukit Timah. Everytime we walked past, we wanted to try it. Finally the day came and we decided to give it a shot. Their menu was a little similar to the one from Thai Express. But I feel that Thai Express has more variety in their cuisine. Most of their dishes are for individuals, not so much for sharing. The decor of the restaurant was very simple but the food was a little disappointing in my opinion.

I will give it a 2/5 stars.
